Jarmila Podolníková

RNDr. Jarmila Podolníková (1962) graduated at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Comenius University in Bratislava (1985), in the branch of study Approximate and numerical methods. She worked for the Research Institute for Information Technologies in Žilina in years 1985-1986 and after her maternity leave she worked for the company Amix Open Systems Brno (1996 – 1998). Since 1998 she has been working in the Moravian Museum in Brno. She worked as a programmer first and since 2003 as a head of the Department of Informatics, or since 2005 CITeM (Methodological Centre for Information Technologies in Museology). She is a main programmer of the application called Demus, she is a coordinator for projects ProMuS, Registr sbírek výtvarného umění (Register of Fine Arts collections), Restitution Art, she is an investigator of the project Národní autority v prostředí muzeí a galerií - interoperabilita s NK ČR (Authorities in museums and galleries environment – interoperability with the National Library of the Czech Republic).
